Dr. Zia Uddin, A DFW native, completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Dallas. He completed his Psychiatry Residency training at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Uddin specializes in treating substance abuse disorders and Adult ADHD.
He uses a holistic approach, treating the full person rather than just symptoms. Through his comprehensive evaluation, Dr. Uddin will work with you to determine whether pharmacologic treatment, therapy, or a combination of both would be most helpful for you. In treatment with Dr. Uddin, you will find a thoughtful, warm, and nonjudgmental atmosphere.
What insurances are accepted?
Dr. Uddin is an out-of-network provider and will provide you with itemized receipts if you decide to seek reimbursement with your insurance company. If you decide to be reimbursed by your insurance company, a "superbill" will be provided by Dr. Uddin. The "superbill" will include the service provided and the fees for service. It is recommended to consult with your insurance company prior to the initial appointment if you are interested in reimbursement.
What are the costs of services?
Initial Assessment Intake: $300
Follow-up Medication Management: $200
How long will my appointments last?
Initial Assessment sessions are 50 – 60 minutes; Medication Management follow-up appointments are 20-30 minutes.
